DFC

An advanced digital force gage for tension and compression measurement, featuring Bluetooth data transfer and advanced test modes.

DFC 100
Force Measurement with Advanced Capabilities

The DFC can be used as a standard handheld force gage for tension and compression measurement. It also provides advanced test modes, higher measurement accuracy, and additional communication options. The DFC is suitable for manual measurements, use with a manual force tester, and automated testing with an FMM digital force tester.

Bluetooth, USB and RS232 Data Transfer

Measurement results can be transferred via Bluetooth, USB, or RS-232. Bluetooth allows measurement data to be sent directly to PC applications for documentation or further analysis.

Clear Display with Easy-to-Read Results

The display clearly presents real-time and peak measurement values. A graphical load bar provides a quick visual indication of the current load. Two programmable softkeys can be assigned to frequently used functions, making daily operation easier.

Advanced Test Modes and Statistical Analysis
The DFC supports a range of measurement modes, including Real Time, Peak Tension, Peak Compression, and Load-Time Average. Up to 99 measurement results can be stored internally and analyzed using the built-in statistics function. Statistical results include minimum, maximum, average, range, and standard deviation.
Switch and Pushbutton Actuation Force Testing

For applications involving electrical contacts, the DFC can capture the force at the moment the electrical contact changes state. This makes it suitable for measuring the actuation and release forces of switches, push buttons, and similar electromechanical components.

Flexible Use with Accessories and Manual Force Testers

A wide range of grips and fixtures is available for securely holding and testing different specimens. An optional adapter kit allows additional grips and fixtures to be mounted easily. Combined with MTL or MTH manual force testers, the DFC provides a practical solution for repeatable tension and compression testing.

FMM Control and Automated Testing

When connected to an FMM digital force tester, the DFC serves as the operating and control interface. Test parameters such as load and distance limits can be configured directly through the gage.

This allows automated test procedures such as load-distance testing, break testing, cyclic testing, and hold testing to be performed.
