FMM
The motorized FMM force tester provides precise, controlled crosshead movement and is designed for repeatable force testing in quality assurance, production, incoming inspection, product development, and laboratory environments.
Flexible Software Options and Configurations
The FMM can be used with MetLogix L1, L2+, or L3 software. Depending on the application, users can select the software best suited to their testing requirements—from basic force measurement and spring testing to advanced test methods, graphical analysis, and material testing.
This allows the force tester to be configured for the specific application and expanded with additional analysis, reporting, and documentation capabilities as needed.
Supports a Wide Range of Test Methods
The FMM Series supports common force testing methods, including tension and compression testing, peak load measurement, break testing, hold and cyclic testing, flexural, shear, and peel testing, as well as coefficient-of-friction testing.
This makes the force tester suitable for a wide range of applications requiring controlled force application, repeatable test routines, and clearly documented results.
Manual Control or Automatic Operation
The FMM can be operated in either manual or automatic mode. In manual mode, the crosshead is moved using the UP and DOWN jog keys. In automatic mode, a test can be started through the software. Crosshead speed can be set using the control panel or specified through the software.
Safety Features for Controlled Testing
The force tester includes controls for crosshead movement, speed selection, operating mode, and emergency stop. During operation, the display indicates the current system status. Safety features such as the emergency stop, crosshead travel limits, and pinch-load protection support safe and controlled operation throughout the testing process.
Multiple Models and Travel Options
The FMM Series is available in different load capacities and with either standard or extended crosshead travel. This allows the system to be selected according to the application, required test load, and sample size.

Load Cells
Our BLC load cells provide the foundation for precise and reliable force measurement. They offer high accuracy, fine resolution, and a stiff design with minimal deflection under load.
Integrated TEDS identification communicates directly with MetLogix force testing software. This allows the software to automatically recognize the connected load cell and its sensor data, reduces manual setup when changing load cells, and helps protect the sensor against overload during normal testing.
Specifications:
Load capacities from 0–10 N to 0–2,500 N, accuracy better than 0.1 % of full scale, and compliance with relevant standards, including IEEE 1451.4, ASTM E4, BS 1610, ISO 7500-1, and EN 10002-2.
Grips and Fixtures






Suitable grips and test fixtures securely hold and correctly align the samples. A variety of solutions is available for tension, compression, flexural, shear, and pull-off testing.
