MTL / MTH
Manual force testers for repeatable tension and compression testing with DFG or DFC digital force gages.
Stable Design for Manual Force Testing
The MTL and MTH manual force testers are used with a digital force gage such as the DFG or DFC. They provide a stable setup for controlled tension and compression testing, securely holding samples while force is applied smoothly and consistently.
Quick-Action Lever or Precision Handwheel Control
The MTL models feature a quick-action lever and are well suited for applications where the crosshead needs to be moved quickly over a longer distance. The MTH-550 features a precision handwheel and high-resolution worm gear, allowing force to be applied with precise control.
Adaptable to Different Testing Applications
The force testers can be equipped with grips, fixtures, and optional accessories to accommodate different samples and testing requirements. An optional digital scale is available for measuring deflection distance. Depending on the model, optional mounting legs also allow horizontal operation.
Applications
- Tension and compression testing
- Incoming and outgoing inspection
- In-process testing
- Component testing
- Spring testing with optional deflection measurement
- Applications requiring repeatable force application
| Model | Control | Load Capacity | Crosshead Travel | Travel per Revolution |
