Easy Operation for Basic Force Testing
L1 is designed for basic tension and compression testing with the FMM digital force tester. Its clear user interface guides users through test setup, execution, and result evaluation.
Tests can be created using predefined test methods, allowing common applications to be set up quickly without extensive programming knowledge.
Test Methods for Load, Distance, Break, and Cycles
L1 supports a range of basic test methods, including tests to a specified load or distance, hold tests, break tests, and cyclic tests based on either cycle count or duration.
This makes the software well suited for repeatable testing applications where load, distance, time, and test results need to be reliably recorded and documented.
Built-in Spring Testing Routines and Characteristics
L1 supports basic test routines for tension and compression springs. These include one- and two-point measurements, such as force at a specified length or height, or length or height at a specified force.
Typical spring characteristics such as spring rate, spring constant, free length, and preload can also be determined. Preconditioning can be included to support repeatable spring testing.
Graphical Display of Test Results
Measurement results can be displayed in different views. L1 supports load-distance, load-time, and distance-time graphs, along with result, data, statistics, and tolerance views.
This allows individual test runs to be evaluated, multiple runs to be compared, and results to be quickly assessed using pass/fail criteria.
Data Export and Reporting
Raw data and result data can be exported in CSV format, either automatically after a test is completed or manually as needed.
For documentation, L1 provides several report types, including graph, statistics, and tolerance reports.
